Time to graduation for Utah students seeking a bachelor's degree

This metric measures the percentage of a given cohort that has graduated with a bachelor's degree within 4, 6, and 8 years of entering college, minus exclusions such as students who leave for ecclesiastical service or to join the military. The average graduation rate within 4 years was 17% while the average graduation rate within 8 years was 48% in 2016.




Utah students engaged in distance education

In Utah, distance education is defined as a course where at least 80% of the course uses one or more technologies to teach students who are removed from the instructor. This P-20 metric on distance education looks at Utah student enrollment in the fall semester of 2016. 



New Research Document Style Guide Released

This week, the UDRC released its research document style guide. The guide assures uniformity and high quality of research documents released by the UDRC. All research documents follow APA style for grammar and citations. At the content and organization level, our research documents will follow an academic style format.



UDRC previews its new research at “Bagels & Research” Event

The Utah Data Research Center (UDRC) previewed its new research products and data narratives at an inaugural data research meetup with more than 50 peers from the research community including from higher education institutions, policy centers, non-profit organizations, and government agencies. Utah Data Research Center receives Best of Utah award for partnership

The Utah Data Research Center received a Best of Utah award for “Best Partnership” at the Utah Digital Government Summit on June 4, 2019. The award recognized the center’s efforts in collaborating with several government agencies to consolidate datasets for research and analysis.
